Today I woke up and went to to church with my girlfriend.  I was back home in Kerens staying with my parents for the weekend.  While I was there I went to visit my granddad.  He just got out of the hospital earlier this week.  He is fighting Alzheimer, going on about a month now.  It was really hard to see him this way.  He has always been a man of great wisdom,  and was very talkative person.  He would always give me advice and life lessons every time I would visit.  But now with all the meds. he is on he just is not the same.  He might have been able to say 6 words to me today.  It was really hard to see him this way and it breaks my heart to see a person that I look up to and hope to be like one day like this.  I always enjoyed my talks with him and now wonder if I will ever get to have another with him again...
